take a look at university websites, they offer courses in adult nursing, as long as you have the appropriate qualifications, that would be the best way to start.
Alternatively, some nursing homes allow you to learn on the job, with you getting qualifications from your personal experience.
I personally suggest unies. much more reliable!
glad to be of some assistance!

Depends on the hospital, state, etc. Around here it’s about $ 14.00 an hour, that’s more than the CNA wages.

I think my pre-requisite courses were anatomy and physiology 1 and 2, microbiology, a couple of psychology courses. It really depends…are you talking RN or LPN? Personally I say do the RN program…we get paid more and you have many more options. I am not familiar with diong it online, though I’m CERTAIN it would involve going in person at least to do your clinicals…this means you go work usually one day a week in a hospital learning as part of class…you don’t get paid or anything. If you are familiar with a school that offers nursing online, I’d just schedule an appointment with an academic advisor and ask them what is required. There is a 2 year RN and a 4 year RN.,..the 4 year gets you a bachelors in Nursing and the 2 year is an Associates Degree in Nursing…both of them mean you are a Registered Nurse. it’s a great career…good luck to you!
