I’m 21 years old and a female nurse … (i went to university to get a nursing degree). when i tell guys that i’m a nurse they go all gah-gah… i mean they get a weird smile on their face and seem quite enthusiastic about my being a nurse. i would like to know from either nurses or men in general – why do you react in this way?
btw we dont wear little white mini skirts anymore we wear scrubs or a conservative hospital uniform.

When You Are In Nursing School (rn), Do You Have To Take Nursing Classes In The Summer?

Or is it only Spring & Fall? I am trying my best to finish all my college classes & prerequisites before I even get into Nursing School, because I’ve heard that it takes up your entire day, like from 9am to 9pm just in Nursing classes and clinicals alone. Is this true? Would I have enough time to take a needed class at the college while in Nursing School?
Any advise from current Nursing Students or RN’s would really help. Thanks!!!

When I Start Nursing School (rn), Will I Have Enough Time In The Day To Also Take 1 Or 2 College Classes?

I am currently not working, and was wondering once I start nursing school will there be time for 1 or 2 college classes to finish my prerequisites? I am trying to knock out all the hardest classes now, and have like Biomedical Ethics and my Humanities for last. Any advice?
Can someone give me an idea of the typical day in the life of a nursing school student? i.e. Wake up at 6am, go to school for 6 hours, etc. Thanks!

Could U Work As A Cna Job For The Meantime When U Just Graduated From Lpn Course? While Reviewing For Nclex?

If you find a facility that does not require the C. part of CNA (the certification) then absolutely, but without the actual certification, even if you are trained beyond that scope of practice, I don’t think a place can legally hire you. There are tons of facilities that don’t require the certification if you can prove adequate training and experience, which an LPN course should cover. But for an actual CNA job, you will need to take that certification exam to apply.

Why Is Math Important When Dealing With Pharmacology?

I’d have to bet you need math in order to find out how many pills of a certain medicine are required for a specific dose. And you need to know how much of a dose a certain person needs.
