Why Do They Call Hospital Uniforms Scrubs?

I get all my scrubs at Tafford, they are inexpensive and everyone always compliments me on my scrubs! Check them out.

nurses used to look great now they look awful

Why Did Nurses Stop Wearing The Traditional Uniforms And Start Wearing Those God Awful Floral Print Scrubs?
Written on 10/05/2009 – 3:35 pm | by nursing |We wear scrubs because they are more practical than the old white uniform dress with stockings. Nurses have to be able to move easily, lift patients, get dirty, etc. Scrubs are cheap, comfortable, and easy to clean (or dispose of) if dirty.

Why Are The Uniforms Of Nurses And Doctors Called Scrubs?
