Does This Sound Like A Good Life Plan?

After i graduate high school in a few months i plan on becoming reserve marine first of all and after i finish basic training i want to go to college and get my nursing degree and be a RN. My grandfather has a savings account in my name which has been building up for years and i plan to take it and start my own doggy day care business while working part time as a nurse, and after the business gets up and running pretty well hire a few employees and start working full time as a nurse and also have the business. Its always been my dream to be a successful woman and independent i have also always been interested in military. If you think their are any flaws in my idea please point them out i take well to criticism!!
thank you very much!!

Should I Go For This? (cna + High School?) This Is A Long-looking One, But I’d Appreciate Any Input.?

First off, let me say that, aside from a couple of electives and 2 (each) English/Global credits, I’m pretty much done with my Advanced Regents Diploma credits (I took honors courses starting in Middle school, so I’m, for the most part, a year ahead.) I would like to pursue a career in health care, most likely and RN (In Hospice, perhaps?)
As a junior and senior (I’m a sophomore, planning my schedule right now.), I can take a half-school-day (4 of 8 periods) class (BOCES Vo-Tech, if you’re familiar with it.) that will end in me getting a (free!) Nurse Assisting Certification (therefore, depending upon what my not-really-considered,-to-be-honest college life looks like, a pretty decent job), lots of science/English credits, and, from what I’ve been told, something that looks really good on College apps. (Plus, it would give me two years to figure out if this is even the kind of work I want to do, and no commitment if I want to leave after a semester.)
This would be in addition to my AR diploma (I’d do regular classes for the other half of the day, obviously.)
My only dilemma is whether it would be a better move to just load up on regular classes. Here are my courses for next year (Keep in mind that I have another year after this, that’s even more open… I’ll only HAVE TO take 1 class as a senior, so anything I don’t take next year, I can do as a Senior.), according to my (rather unhelpful, actually) guidance counselor (classes I’ll definitely be taking, regardless, have an asterisk by them):
-Honors English*
-US History*
-French*
-Gym/Human Anatomy* (Alternating – every other day.)
-Typing
-Forensics (I don’t know. She just plopped me in there. I hear it’s an easy A, though…)
-College Alg. (Def. Taking this one at some point in the next 2 years.)
-Piano (I’m currently in the beginner class and love it.)

Joke About A Male Patient And A Student Nurse Please Read This!!!!!!!!?

male patient is lying in bed in the
hospital, wearing a oxygen mask
over his mouth and nose. A young, student nurse appears to give him a
partial sponge bath. “Nurse”, he mumbles, from behind the mask.
“Are my
testicles black?”Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, “I don’t know,
Sir. I’m only here to wash your upper body and feet.”He struggles to ask
again, “Nurse, please check. Are my testicles black?”Concerned that
he
may elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worry about his
testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and pulls back thecovers. She
raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles in the
other. Then, she takes a close look and says, There’s nothing wrong with
them, Sir!”The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very
slowly,” Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very
closely……A r e – m y – t e s t – r e s u l t s – b a c k?

Does Anyone Know The Answer To This?

Yesterday I went to the doctor and I had to have some blood work done. But when the nurse stuck the needle into my arm she did not get any blood at all to come out (lol) She tried moving the needle over and still nothing. She tapped on my skin and she couldnt seem to get any blood. She tried the other arm and still nothing. My friend had told me that I need more water but I dont know if that is true. So does anyone know the real answer to this problem?
I know I should have asked my doctor but he went on lunch break before I could so can anyone answer this?

19, Having A Baby This Fall, And Wanting To Go Back To College To Get My Rn?

Getting pregnant so young was a huge shock to me & my boyfriend – it was very unplanned. I have planned on going to college to get my RN for years and already went to tech school to get my PCT (patient care technician) My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we are very happy about the birth of our little baby girl this October (once we got over the shock!) Hes a great guy, hes an HVAC apprentice & makes very good money for his age.
Going back to school stresses me out just thinking about it. Its going to be so hard, and I dont want to miss out on my baby girl growing up because I’m always gone at school & work. Should I try to go back sooner or later? Any young moms out there have any words of advice about managing school, work, and being a good mommy?
Once I found I was pregnant everyone in my family immediately went on “her life is over” drive & said how I would never get my career and that my life would be a struggle. I want to prove them wrong – BUT HOW! :(

To All The Veterinarians….does This Look Like A Start?

Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science – Pre-Veterinary Concentration
The pre-veterinary concentration allows the student to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science, meeting the requirements for most Veterinary Schools as well as the requirements for the two-year, AVMA-accredited program in Veterinary Technology. Students are advised that the requirements of each Veterinary School are different, and that they may need to take additional courses to meet the pre-requisite requirements of a specific school. Students should be prepared to begin the application process at the end of the Junior year and may receive feedback at that time on how they might make their application stronger.
An integral part of the program is the Lenfest Animal Health Center. This on-campus veterinary clinic treats hundreds of animals annually and allows students to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience as part of the curriculum. In addition to the veterinary clinic on campus, field trips are made to local shelters and farm animal facilities. These out-reach programs give the students experiences with a wide range of animal species. Supplementing the didactic course work is an externship in which the student receives hands-on training in an approved research facility, private veterinary practice or veterinary teaching facility.
