Intravenous Needle Still Lurking In My Vein Somewhere?

when i press the area of my hand (about 2cm away from the spot where i had the intraveous needle inserted) it hurts and feels funny. everytime i press into that spot i feel pain and something kind of move.
is it possible?? when the nurse takes out the needle, i’m sure she would have noticed if half of it was missing!
also, the nurse tugged the needle and pulled it towards the side, while it was stuck in my vien. the reason she did this was because the tube that goes on top was blocked. i dont know.. does info that help?

Can I Still Go To School To Be An Rn If I Have A Dui On My Background Check?

I have looked into some schools in the VA area (Roanoke) about CRN, etc programs and have found that they will conduct a background check. Can I still be a nurse with a DUI conviction on my background check?

How Many Times Can A Nurse Fail Her Boards In Illinois And Still Have A Job?

I work as a CNA in a health care setting. Every spring we have nurses who fail their boards and then they are put on the CNA schedule until they pass. I have a problem with this b/c it cuts out possible extra money I could earn and some of the pending nurses think they are above CNA work and do minimal work at times. I work in a place where four nurses have just failed their boards, two have failed for the 3rd time and been on the schedule all year! I just recently found out that while they are not being paid nurses pay they are being compensated at LPN pay, but do CNA work. I have more education (not nursing) than both and being compensated at less. I feel these nurses should be fired after failing so many times and plan to complain if they are all added to the schedule. Am I right in doing so? I live in Illinois, but what is the standard in your state and hospital? Am I right to feel this way?

Is It Possible To Become A Certified Ca Rn While Still In High School?

im hoping to become doctor ( general surgery maybe?) and im hoping to go to medical school after highschool, though im still in high school right now. i was hoping that i could work as a RN part time while in college and also that being a certified RN would give me an edge in applying for college. is it possible? if not RN then maybe CNA???

Im an NCLEX-Rn passer and i am still not practising in california due to visa retrogretion.my licens will expire within a year,do i stil have to retake it or will i just renew it?
