This is how it is: I’m currently a junior in high school and maintain a 4.17 GPA. I’m very interested in becoming a pharmacist and I have been researching through the whole internet about the career. I’m good at math and I like it, I have had algebra, geometry, algebra 2, and I’m currently taking math analysis, planning to take it to AP Calculus. As for science, I do like it and have taken biology, advanced biology, currently taking chemistry and planning for physics. Concerning chemistry, I was doing very good and I understand most of it until my teacher decided to resign and now I have a college teacher who teaches at college level which I completely do not understand a thing he says. I like biology more than chemistry, which is not good because this career concerns more chemistry than any other science, though I’m willing to hit hard on chemistry. So, enough of myself, I really need someone who can guide me to become a pharmacist because my graduation date keeps getting closer and I’m not getting ready at all! Can you apply to a pharmacy school after high school? How can I prepare for the pharmacist career? What classes do you need to take to get accepted into the Pharm.D.? Which are the good schools for pharmacology? What classes are recommended to take in high school to prepare for this career? I need to chat with a pharmacist or a prospective pharmacist who can serve me as a guide, I really need the help. No copycat pharmacists (meaning if you’re not a pharmacist, don’t even help me) this is serious.
