my problem: My public Jr college has a one year program like everyone else. I have a child and I am married. I donot have a sitter for her during the day. I cannot afford daycare-25/per day. My husband works and also goes to school. I am a CNA/ and a HHA and I love the nursing field. I want and need a better career. Concord has a weekend program..I am not worried about the time(months) because either way it will take just as long. It does cost alot. Probably about 15-20K. My husband is off during the weekends and takes care of my daughter while I work. I dont work during the week, only the weekends. SOOOO The jr college offers a RN program but it would take me 8 years to finish. I am say this beause I would only do one class per semester. And I had planned on going through that program when my daughter is in grade school and dont have to worry about day care and so on. My husband says hes worried about spending the $ on lvn and not having the classes transfer to the jr college later.
