I want to become a Nurse but I do not know where to start. I know they have LPN which is about a 1yr program. They have the RN which can be in 2 yrs or BSN which is taken in 4 years. Then you have the MSN and much higher degree’s.
I want to become a Patient Care Tech first. I spoke to a few people at Everest and said that would be the best route. I want to work in a lower field such as the PCT to gain experience and make a little more money.
My little plan is PCT- RN (the 2 yr program)
or PCT-BSN (the 4 year)
Does the PCT have at all good looks as a RN? Isn’t the PCT the same as a CNA?
After all of this I want to become a CRNA. I think I need the BSN to get into a Master program, correct? Because usually in any program that is a Master you need a Bachelor’s.
So PCT – RN – BSN – CRNA?
or PCT – BSN – CRNA?
I have done my research on exam’s and and so forth.
Is this good paths? Can any one correct any mistakes? Does any one have a better path?
