Going To College And My Financial Aid Covers Tuition But Barely…?

Books will be $800 and my nursing scrub uniform tops $80…then I have to purchase pants from where ever. I do not have this money! Where can I get it? Are there additional grants and such I can apply for? I am a married mom of 2 and will most likely be quitting my job 2 months into schooling (when our lease is up and we can move into cheaper housing). My husband and I have bad credit so no personal loans for us. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I Become An Lpn By Going To A Vocational School?

I have a H.S. diploma and no college. I have kids and I want to get my LPN so that i can get a better job. Can I do it at a vocational (or trade) school with no other education? I hear it takes about a year, but I don’t know if I have to get some kind of other education as well.. I just want this to happen fast so I can move forward. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks! :)

program…or should i go straight to an rn school? I was told that it would be an easier route to do medical assistant and then go on to becoming an rn. I just want to know if I am wasting my time in the Medical Assistant program. If anyone has any input I’d greatly appreciate it.

im planning to transfer from my community college to an LPN school. money is a big issue for me, so i cant wait to work as a nurse. but then, i thought maybe after LPN i can go to RN school while working part time as an LPN nurse. OR, work as an LPN for a year then transfer to an RN or BSN program. what do you think????
