I took my NCLEX-pn exam and passed according to the Pearson Vue website. I have a great job lined up and all I need is my letter stating that I can work as an LPN, license pending. So my first question is- when should I expect my letter? I have a classmate who took her exam on a Friday and recieved her letter 8 days later(the following Saturday). I took my test last Friday(July 18th) so today is 8 days but unfortunatley there is no letter in the mail today. If anyone has been through this process could you please let me know how long it took your letter to come? My second question related to this is- when my letter comes will there be another license fee. I believe there is something like a $65 fee but I cannot find any info anywhere.

I do not remember hearing the nclex-pn mentioned at that time but is common now. I need to know to be able to apply for and Indiana license.
Any tips on what I sould focus a lot of attention on this next year? I can’t wait to graduate and I know the 2nd year is tougher. I am also a mother of a 4 month old. I had her in between semesters. Any advice about the nclex?
Since things have changed since I graduated from LPN school (I didn’t pass the boards, took it 3 times and got close to passing), I was wondering do I take a refresher course or do the school thing all over again?

I am a recent graduate of an RN program. I am preparing to take the state boards. I feel as though all the material I learned over the past two years is nowhere to be found in my brain. To try and go back over all the material would be a good idea but, there isn’t enough time. Please if anyone could offer me so type of seroiu strategy I would greatly appreciate. I would like to here from some recent people who passed the ENCLEX. Also if you haden’t took it recently your imput is just as valuable. Do anyone know of any great NCLEX books. You have to submit an application to Boards of LVN and Psychiatry technician because the two have different boards (in California).

Hey im studying to take my LPN boards in late DEC. right now I’m studying Hurst Review. if you go on their site www.hurstreview.com you can check out everything, but its a little pricey $300 (but it’s worth it in the end) , but if you want to do a live review its $350 which they come to the closest college near you u just have to check out their schedule, also if u fail (which I know you want) they will help until u pass!! Also on allnurses.com this lady on their her name is susanne she has a good plan too and yes if free!!! A lot of people have passed using her plan. if u need more info on how to find her just contact me…
