I work in surgery – many colleagues wear sneakers with good support, or crocs.
As the first answer says scrubs are what doctors and nurses wear in the operating theatre. I guess they are called that as both are required to ’scrub’ themselves clean before entering the theatre to prevent disease and contamination.
To assure there is no air to be injected. If so the results could be abscesses if im and more and of course. An air bolus greater than 40 could lead to major complications including death as an end result if given intravenously.
