Air Force Reserves, Nursing, Scholarships, And College Loans?

Two years from now I plan to be qualified to enlist in the US Air Force Reserves as a RN. I want to do this to have money coming in while I do my RN to BSN. I also have about a 7K student loan that I would love to get off my back. Will I be able to get a nursing scholarship from the Air Force, have them take care of my student loan, by just joing the Reserves for now? I plan to enlist full time when I complete my BSN! Also.. if I am in school and I want to enlist in the Air Force, will they put off me going to basic until I atleast finish my associates? My ASVAB score expires this coming up summer(I made an 89) and I don’t want to put it to waste. I hope my questions are clear! Thanks in advance.

Going To College And My Financial Aid Covers Tuition But Barely…?

Books will be $800 and my nursing scrub uniform tops $80…then I have to purchase pants from where ever. I do not have this money! Where can I get it? Are there additional grants and such I can apply for? I am a married mom of 2 and will most likely be quitting my job 2 months into schooling (when our lease is up and we can move into cheaper housing). My husband and I have bad credit so no personal loans for us. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teens: What Career Do You Plan On Studying In College?

19, Having A Baby This Fall, And Wanting To Go Back To College To Get My Rn?

Getting pregnant so young was a huge shock to me & my boyfriend – it was very unplanned. I have planned on going to college to get my RN for years and already went to tech school to get my PCT (patient care technician) My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we are very happy about the birth of our little baby girl this October (once we got over the shock!) Hes a great guy, hes an HVAC apprentice & makes very good money for his age.
Going back to school stresses me out just thinking about it. Its going to be so hard, and I dont want to miss out on my baby girl growing up because I’m always gone at school & work. Should I try to go back sooner or later? Any young moms out there have any words of advice about managing school, work, and being a good mommy?
Once I found I was pregnant everyone in my family immediately went on “her life is over” drive & said how I would never get my career and that my life would be a struggle. I want to prove them wrong – BUT HOW! :(

Can I Get Into Medical School After College As An Rn-bsn?

I’m in my first year of college to become an RN, but I work at hospital now as a pharmacy technician and I am really interested in becoming an Anesthesiologist. After four years of nursing school would I be able to get into med school?
Also if there is anyone out there who is an Anesthesiologist, do you enjoy your job?

I am currently attending Stony Brook University. My intended major is Pharmacology and I plan on transfering to these following schools…
Boston University

My GPA for the end of the first year should be around a 3.0. Do colleges your transfer look at your high school transcripts? If they do I had about an 86 GPA and recieved a 1220 on Crit Reading and math. What kind of shot do you think I have at those schools??
Id really like to know…any thoughts would be very much appreciated…I just want to know what kind of chane I have or should i shoot lower. Money is not a problem by the way.
