I was just donating blood at the red cross a few hours ago. This time when the nurse stuck my arm it hurt FAR worse than it ever has before when I’ve donated. The blood ended up clotting and my arm turned bright purple from the strap. Then she had to take the needle out and blood squirted slightly. Now I can hardly lift my arm. It is still some what bleeding. Is my arm messed up? Or is this sometimes normal when giving blood?
