How To Whiten White Nurse’s Shoes? Mine Is Already Yellowish?

even if i brush it with detergent soap with bleach and water…
are there any ways to whiten it back to its original white?
without using expensive commercial products

    My mom was a nurse years ago, and she used to use a white shoe polish. Don’t know if they still make it, or if it would work, but that’s all I got. ;)
