  1. It is a 2 year program which is offered at some local community colleges.

  2. I believe LPN school takes about a year(or a little more) to complete…I dont think college work and LPN school work can be combined though since most of the classes there are just plain emphasied nursing type classes

  3. in oklahoma lpn school is 13 months. one of my close friends became an lpn, as a stepping stone to rn. she took correspondence courses while working for $15 an hour as a nurse. now she makes $25 as an rn. she did have to sacrifice to go to rn school full time for an other year after she had all her basics.

  4. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you aren’t going to be able to work and go to medical school at the same time. Not that there’s a rule against it, it’s just that you won’t have the time to work.
Unless you come from a wealthy family, med students all take out student loans for school and living expenses. That’s why the average student is $200,000 in debt by the time med school is completed. The good news is that the average med student pays that off in 7 years. The better news is that many employers and group practices pay that off for the student.

1 1/2 to 2 years depending on what classes you all ready have that will transfer.

Well my sister-in-law is an LPN and…gosh…almost 3 years of schooling…of course she was working at the time too…
She is going to school right now and working 2 jobs to be an RN.
