I want to get into an LVN program, but unfortunately I REALLY suck at math and I wanted to see if it would be a huge problem. I am pre- algebra

    Math can be very important in the nursing program.Most programs require students to get 100% on dosage calculation tests. There is no room for error when calculating meds.

    Most of the math you do in an LVN course has to do with pharmacology. It’s figuring doses according to a patient’s weight and such. I’d say it’s math that has a purpose. Somehow that makes it easier or it makes more sense.
