Almost all the LPN training is practical and you have to, therefore, do it in a hospital setting. Many two-year colleges offer this program and are affiliated with hospitals.
I had such wonderful care from the LPNs when I was a patient in a nursing home last year. I want to commend you on your objective and hope you can find the time to take this course. It will take you about one year.
you have to do clinical time(hands on learning) so you can’t do it online. You can, however, take some of the pre-req courses online before you apply to a nursing program.
There are some schools that offer online training, but you have to find a hospital to do your clinicals in on your own. Those hospitals are VERY difficult to find. Also, the online schools are expensive. Visit http://www.allnurses.com in order to get a better answer to your question.

Try inquiring at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. I know they offfer some “distance learning” courses, but I don’t know about LPN training.
I don’t know! Why don’t you want to go to school? My wife is and she enjoys it! In a little over three years, she will be a RN!
you cant get that online…
the only nursing programs you can do online is from an RN to BSN.
