And if you have taken the NCLEX-RN, how well do you think it prepared you? Any words of wisdom?
I am currently residing in Queens, NY and I am struggling with my NCLEX-RN exams. I have already taken the exam twice and failed. Part of this is because as of April 2007, they changed the test plan for NCLEX-RN and raised the passing standard. It is disheartening but I hope to get it on my third try. I would appreciate any suggestion and may you have a blessed day ahead.

I’ve seen different nursing school requirements. I guess I’m asking if there’s a way to shave those courses down in time, and do the bare minimum to sit for the R.N. exam. I’m not an immigrant, so any foreign student requirements are irrelevant.
It’s very overwhelming to me and I am scared to death. There are all types of review courses, books, cd’s! I don’t even know what will be best to prepare.
I’m a registered nurse from Philippines and took the Vermont State Licensure Exam in HongKong last May 2006.My US-RN license should be renewed this March 2007.I have difficulty in finding the website from were i can find the forms i needed.Please help me to find such.Thank you and God bless.

I’m a Canadian RN. I am just planning to take NCLEX in California. I got BScN from the Canadian University. But I have no idea if I need send my application to CGFNS and take the CGFNS exam or send my application to California Board of Registered Nursing. Anyone has the same experience? Thanks! Regards

I’m having trouble finding this information online and was wondering from Illinois nurses: how long do I have to wait after graduation to sit for my boards? I would like to take NCLEX asap after I graduate, but I’m not sure how long the wait is (I’ve heard from 1-3 months).
I graduated from nursing school 1 year ago, and due to some legal problems and now finally being allowed to take state boards. My test is in 5 weeks and I’m so scared. Anyone know if it’s worth taking the Kaplan review class or is it better to do the online version or is there something even better to do.Please give some suggestions.I would greatly appreciate it.
