Need Help Preparing For The Nclex-pn, Does Anyone Know A Good Tutor?

state board exam for LPN’s, Need studying techniques.. etc…

Should I Take The Nclex-pn??

I graduated from an ADN prog 3 years ago, but was unsuccessful with the NCLEX -RN twice. I took the rest of the time to just work. Now I am tired of being a CNA and want to get my license. The problem is that I know that I am not ready for the RN boards. I would rather audit some classes before I dive back in to that text. Someone recommended I try the LPN boards. Would it be worth it to try that first?

I Passed My Nclex Exam- How Long Will It Take To Recieve My Letter Saying I Can Work License Pending?

I took my NCLEX-pn exam and passed according to the Pearson Vue website. I have a great job lined up and all I need is my letter stating that I can work as an LPN, license pending. So my first question is- when should I expect my letter? I have a classmate who took her exam on a Friday and recieved her letter 8 days later(the following Saturday). I took my test last Friday(July 18th) so today is 8 days but unfortunatley there is no letter in the mail today. If anyone has been through this process could you please let me know how long it took your letter to come? My second question related to this is- when my letter comes will there be another license fee. I believe there is something like a $65 fee but I cannot find any info anywhere.
Thanks so much! :-)

Accelerated Second Degree In Nursing (bsn) – What Are The Best Schools For That In Michigan?

I’m about to graduate with a bachelor of science in health care administration. I’ve always been interested in nursing, though. If anyone knows about associates degrees in nursing that would be great too. As long as it’s a program that allows you to be a RN, not a LPN, and has a reputation for 95%+ success rates on the NCLEX-RN.

I Am Trying To Go For My Lpn And I Need To Take The Net Test?

Possible Trying To Do Rn While Im An Lpn? Did I Waste My Time?

I just turned 20 with no parental support b/c of my dad’s death and my original career was audio engineering before his death. anyways im almost done with my lpn course (4 more months). i did a ten month $9000 crash course with my dad’s insurance money. i did lpn because i was worried about my living situation & i believe i wasnt going to make it if i did RN for 3 years from rent, work , school. anyways i decided to start from the bottom so that is LPN. well they do not have credits because it is vocational so i decided to start my prereq for rn after my nclex-pn. I start $25 an hour as an lpn plus they pay for my school and my hours is flexible that means i only work weekends 24 hours a week 2 days a week and at the same time go to school. my mother who do not support me says i wasted my time & should have done rn already… that fact that she always look down on me, does not support me and cheated on my dad i want to listen to other people’s opinion & not hers.so did i waste my time?

What Type Of Work Should I Start Out With?

I graduated a couple of months ago, and recently acquired my state license to practice as an LPN. I do plan to go back to school to finish my bachelor’s and take the NCLEX-RN eventually. (Hopefully registering for night classes again this fall).
I’m especially interested in working in an Oncology department at a hospital or an ICU unit in the future, but I realize much experience, and my RN license, is needed.
Therefore, where should I start? I would love to start working, so I’ll take just about anything at first, but I’d like to get my foot in the door at a local hospital as an LPN for the experience, and to learn in any unit, but I never see ads for hiring. How do I go about getting my resume out there?
Hopefully there are some experienced nurses browsing here that might give a new, wet-behind-the-ears nurse some sound advice. =)

Questions About Lpn Program?

this ? is 4 all the LPNs and RNs. I just started an LPN program. Although I’m starting off well, I have some concerns about the testing. I notice a lot of times we r marked wrong for an answer that is right according to the book and the “NCLEX style questions” that r on the CD that came with the book. We bring it up to the instructor, sometimes he gives points back, but sometimes he won’t. I’ve looked all over the web 4 info 2 help prove my point, but no luck. He says that the book is just a guide and NCLEX doesn’t recognize one book over another & we just need 2 go by what he says. My problem is, that if NCLEX wants the answers the way they r on the CD/book, I don’t think it’s fair 2 reinforce a different answer. Example:once a lpn is licensed s/he can apply to another state 4 licensure by:a.taking ncelx 4 that state. b.interstate compact c.endorsment d.following the NursePracticeAct. the book/CD say C. endorsement, but he says B. interstate compact. where can i find proof?

Is The Nclex Pn Easier Than The Rn?

Which one is easier to pass? I hear the RN is very difficult, and that the LPN is easier because it focuses more on patient care.

I Am Taking My Nclex-pn In 4days And I Am Stressing Out.?

I am just not sure what major key points to focus on anymore. Everything I learned this past year feels like a blur. Help me with some great advice. Thank You,
Future LPN
