No one is gonna hire you with an online school nursing degree, so hopefully none (cause that would be a huge waste of tax money).

Can I get financial aid to pay for Nurse Assisting courses at a community college?

I have pretty much paid for most of the things that I need to register for CNA classes. I need shots for varicella since my titer came back negative. And since I am no longer employed I cannot afford the shots right away. I am wondering if I filed for financial aid if I could use the money to pay for these shots or am I going to have to save up whatever cash I get.

If it’s financial aid which should be available to you for next school year if you go ahead and apply it wouldn’t pay for injections to take the course.

How much does financial aid cover?

I want to get my bachelors in RN then become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetic. Will financial aid only cover for the bachelors? because I have financial aid now and they are paying for my associates for my RN degree, but I want to go from my associates in RN to my bachelors in RN , then to a CRNA.

There are different regulations for financial aid when it comes to nursing. Most of the time, you can only get student loans for the advanced degree, but like I said, nursing is different. Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/contact.htm and either fill out the form or call them. They can tell you exactly what is available. Also, many of the larger hospitals have a work/education incentive program where you can work as an RN for them and they will pay for a specialty degree. Call around to the human resource offices and ask for info.

depending on where you live, there is a financial aid office and a financial aid officer at most schools to answer these types of q’s for you. Also make sure that you ask for grants and bursaries you may apply for because believe me, they won’t offer them. lol best of luck to you.
