How long would it take to get a Nursing Degree with a previous major?

My husband is graduating from college with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. However, most places want some kind of nursing degree. How long would it take to earn this degree on top of the one that he now has?

Depends on the school – it can range from two years or having to do a nursing degree all over again. In some places, you go to college for two years and then spend a year and half to two years in University.

It doesn’t matter if he has a degree in biology and chemistry, for nursing there are plenty of specifics that are only taught to those going into the medical field.
